After my
snowdrops post my Mum sent me this victorian teacup (along with a Shepherd's Pie she had cooked).
And I thought long and hard about digging those snowdrops up, with a little moss to cover the dirt on top.
But I resisted......and came up with this compromise.
Thanks Mum, those snowdrops and cup have truly made me smile when I most needed it today :o)
I am not familiar with snow drops-aren't they so pretty! I love that gorgeous cup too.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely blog. I can't wait to come back again!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
Lovely cup from a very thoughtful mum. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely. Spring might just be, well, springing.
ReplyDeleteDo hope you are OK? Just read your comment.
ReplyDelete(((hugs)))
If I lived closer I'd bring you food and flowers and maybe a teacup ;)
Thanks all :)
ReplyDeleteNatasha - snowdrops are *everywhere* in the UK - they are bulbs that appear for a few months in February. They take ages to get established and then they are happy and come back year after year. I reckon 80% of gardens here have them!
FT - thank you my dear. Things are back to normal - just had one of those days!
