I'm not sure if Yoyo was more excited about going to London on the train and the thought of a taxi ride, or the ballet itself. She had spent most of Friday morning making a necklace for the occassion (that's what she's concentrating on my last post). And here is the finished result.............
And, the ballet, well the ballet was magical. Stuff of 6 year old girls (and 32 year old girls dreams).
And the stuff of (ahem) over 32 year old girls' dreams! What a fabulous experience for Yoyo (and you, of course). I can only imagine.
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful thing to be able to experience the excitement in a child at the things we adults often take for granted. The journey is often just as much fun as the destination, and even better when you share it with someone you love.
