Buy a ball of string and divide your gorgeous raised beds into one foot squares by tacking the string to the edges in both directions one foot apart. Then you can plant a separate veggie (or flower) in each square. A four x four raised bed gives you sixteen mini-gardens. You can plant 16 radishes or 16 carrots, or four of something bigger. I had two and by rotating the 32 squares I had a salad garden all the time.Deb Haydennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4867957769919906929.post-68187821895108147802010-05-11T22:35:26.393+01:002010-05-11T22:35:26.393+01:00I was just thinking earlier how sad it was that al...I was just thinking earlier how sad it was that all the fruit tree blossom is carpetting the ground already.<br /><br />Have just spent a lovely half hour looking through your blog posts, I love your photos :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4867957769919906929.post-7516806023057166142010-05-10T20:00:42.399+01:002010-05-10T20:00:42.399+01:00Your veg plants are making good progress.
